ISLAMABAD October 22, 2023 (PAKONOMY): In a heartwarming development, the Banking Mohtasib Pakistan has extended a much-needed financial lifeline to its valued banking customers, making a difference of Rs 972.33 million in their lives. This act of kindness is a testament to the Mohtasib’s unwavering commitment to the well-being of those it serves.

Over the course of the first nine months of this year, the Banking Mohtasib has diligently addressed and resolved a significant number of customer complaints, totaling an impressive 18,431. These actions reflect not only a dedication to customer satisfaction but also an innate sense of responsibility towards the community.

From January 1 to September 30, the Mohtasib’s office received a remarkable 21,852 complaints. Among them, 5,810 were registered through the Prime Minister’s Portal, highlighting the government’s active involvement in monitoring banking practices and advocating for the rights of its citizens.

Sirajuddin Aziz, the man behind this inspiring initiative, stressed the importance of shielding the public from the rising tide of fraudulent activities. In a heartfelt plea, he called upon banking customers to protect their personal and financial details as they would safeguard their own family. By doing so, they can prevent unauthorized access to their accounts and sensitive information, ensuring their financial security.

Aziz went a step further, offering a caring piece of advice to customers. In the event that they receive a phone call that raises doubts or concerns, he encouraged them to think of it as a neighbor in need. Just as you’d rush to assist a neighbor facing a problem, he recommended that customers immediately get in touch with the nearest branch of their bank or reach out to the bank’s helpline for guidance and support.

The Banking Mohtasib’s dedication to serving its customers and providing substantial financial relief isn’t just about numbers and policies; it’s about reaching out a helping hand to those in need. As the Mohtasib continues to champion the rights and interests of banking customers, their efforts are akin to a friendly presence in the often complex world of finance, fostering trust, security, and a sense of community among those who rely on banking services.
